In summer, the Schmittenhöhe is particularly suitable for mountain lovers, of all ages, who want to enjoy adventures. As well as the many hiking trails, there is Schmidolin’s Adventure World, an E-Motocross park, an off-road park and a magic forest. As well as the contemporary infrastructure on the mountain, there are other fantastic experiences, including paragliding, boat trips on Lake Zell and much more.

Anyone who would like to experience a relaxing and variety-packed holiday in the mountains, will feel just great here. A practice lift for beginners is 1.5 kilometres from Gasthof Zur Post, and many other winter activities can be started right on the hotel doorstep.

Its versatility really does inspire – which means families and beginners feel just as good here as those at an advanced level and real pros. In total, 77 kilometres of pistes in various difficulty levels, 28 lift facilities, different ski routes and a five superb runs – spanning more than a kilometre in length – await you. Perfect for unforgettable adventures on the mountain!

The Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun stands out thanks to its dreamy panorama, perfect pistes and state-of-the-art lift facilities. Ski fun above 3000 metres altitude – the glacier ski area, with its variety-packed ski runs and snow parks, provides the ideal terrain for piste lovers. Views and an offer to inspire all the family! A tip for anyone who adores a challenge – speed into the valley on the BLACK MAMBA, with a gradient of up to 63 percent!
